Smart Line - Fits in to every shop

The Smart Line is our well-known series of proven surface grinders. It is available in 4 different grinding widths and in grinding lengths up to 2000mm.

The machine bases of the Smart Line are made of Microgranit, a material with the thermal stability and dampening properties which have set standards in machine tool design.

Based on the precisely scraped V/flat guideways and a powerful hydraulic table drive, this machine design represents the highest machining quality with optimum economy. 

The ELB Comfort control allows operation of the machine in a simple and uncomplicated manner. Mastering it's operation is both quick and simple. Automatic operation allows the machine to automatically grind to a final dimension. Likewise, manual grinding is intuitive and easy allowing the user to easily grind to final dimension via manual operation.

Both table and wheel head mounted straight line dressers can be utilized. Compensation of the dressing amounts is automatically accomplished in both cases.

Smart Line machines are always offered as "package machines", which are ready to grind thus preventing unexpected expenditures.

The optional use of the Siemens STC control unit transforms the Smart Line into an easy to use profile grinding solution.
