Juwel Line - Quicker to the Goal
The machines in the
Juwel Line are equipped with an electromechanical
speed stroke table drive using a timing belt and a
servo motor. The work table can operate at up to 400
strokes per minute with short stroke lengths and
achieves table speeds of up to 40 m/min when working
with longer strokes, thereby allowing high stock
removal rates.

The drive concept
makes the Juwel Line especially suitable for
machining of brittle materials such as ceramics. The
machines within the Juwel Line can grind workpieces
up to 600mm wide and length can vary from 600mm to
1000mm. The machine base is constructed with
Microgranit
and the infeed axis for the grinding wheel is
equipped with linear guideways.
The ELB
Comfort
control allows operation of the machine in a simple
and uncomplicated manner. Mastering it's operation
is both quick and simple. Automatic operation allows
the machine to automatically grind to a final
dimension. Likewise, manual grinding is intuitive
and easy allowing the user to easily grind to final
dimension via manual operation.
